Community Helping Hand is a non-profit 501c organization under the direction of 9 elected board members. Our organization receives no assistance from state or federal agencies and relies solely on the donations we receive and sales through our thrift store.

The Community Helping Hand accepts the dignity of the human person as its first operating principle. This organization has been founded to serve people with dignity and respect. Our motive is not profit, but to serve the needs of our community. The profits will go back to our community.

General Policies for Board Members

Meetings

All Board members are elected for two year terms and are elected at the Annual Meeting.

All Board members are expected to attend all meetings held in a 12 month period of time. a. The Board of Directors shall meet at least six times a year and at least every 75 days.

b. Special meetings may be called by the president or upon request of three members of the Board of Directors.
